LOCATION / GETTING THERE
Most international guests arrive into Lusaka, Zambia. There is the option to overnight in Lusaka and catch the domestic flight the next day.
You then need to catch the scheduled domestic morning flight to Mfuwe International Airport. Sungani will collect you from Mfuwe and fly you to Luamfwa airstrip (Sungani) in our plane – this is a 20-25 -minute flight. If preferred, collection can be done by road which will take around 3 hours. Please note this transfer flight is included in the rate.
Our plane is a Cessna 206 and holds 4 passengers – the luggage limit is strictly 15kg’s per person in soft sided bags and a small carry-on item. No overweight or hard-shell cases will be loaded.
Chartering direct to Sungani is also an option. Luamfwa is a 1200 M gravel airstrip. Only a 5 minute drive from the Sungani Lodge and a 20 minute drive from Kulandila Camp.
